Managing Director
Alexey is the Managing Director of Yarta Capital, with 15+ years of experience in executing M&A transactions and providing strategic advisory services for clients across various sectors, with a special focus on agriculture, fertilizers, FMCG, retail, and the industrial sector
Alexey Kulchitskiy
Throughout his career, Alexey has been actively involved in closing more than 30 transactions worth over US$3 billion.

He has held key positions in several major Russian corporations, including Rusagro, Rusal, Gazprom Neft, Transmashholding, Russian Railways (RZD), and Rusnano, where he was responsible for executing M&A deals and direct investment projects. Over the course of his career, he has successfully managed more than 30 transactions from origination to closing, including cross-border deals in Brazil, India, China, Greece, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, and African countries.

Alexey graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University (Crisis Management), Kutafin Moscow State Law University (LLM in Law), and the New Economic School (Master’s in Finance), and is currently pursuing an MBA at Fundação Getulio Vargas. He holds CAIA, FRM, and PMP certifications and is fluent in English and Portuguese.

In 2021, Alexey was nominated for the Forbes Russia “30 Under 30” ranking in the “Finance & Investments” category.
